What is DOP KANATOL 1056?

DOP KANATOL -1056 is almost colourless and odourless oily liquid, free of foreign materials which is, slightly insoluble in water but soluble in alcohols, hexane etc. and is miscible and compatible with all the monomeric plasticizers of PVC compounding. As DOP KANATOL - 1056 is a plasticizer of mixed C-8 isomeric alcohols. It has Good shell structure like DBP and Permanence like DOP as hybride nature of both higher & lower plasticizer efficiency . DOP KANATOL-1056 very closely resembles with DOP in chemical properties and application. It is used as plasticizer in PVC resins for fabricating flexible vinyl products like:- vinyl upholstery, tablecloth, shoes, garden hoses, swimming pool liners, cable coating, in order of importance.

Optical brightener produces very brilliant white with light reddish blue effect which compensate for yellowing. It has good light fastness. Because of its exceptional whitening properties, excellent resistance to heat, low volatility and easy dispersibility, Optical Brightener is now widely used in plastic market. It has good compatibility in various substrates; in combination with dyes, it produces bright shades. Optical Brightener is used in polymer fibers especially polyester and polyamide fibers. It is also widely used in PP, ABS, PS, HIPS, PA, PC, EVA, Rigid PVC etc.

What is Optical Brightner?

Optical brighteners are a type of chemical used to enhance the white or bright appearance of fabrics. They're often used during the manufacturing process of new white or lightly coloured fabrics, and are commonly added to laundry detergents to maintain the appearance of brightness after successive washes. Because optical brighteners are designed to stick to clothes, they end up being in contact with our skin for prolonged periods of time. While currently there's limited evidence that optical brighteners in laundry detergents pose a risk to human health, they're known to be made from non-renewable petrochemicals and can be slow to biodegrade - both of which have environmental consequences. We prefer to leave them out of our products.
